  • Can I change my Consular Post to Canada or Mexico

    Hello,

I got my I-140 approved last week and at the time of filing my lawyer had put New Delhi as consulate since I opted to go in for Consular Processing. I am not wondering if there is a way I can either go to Canada or Mexico for the same instead for going in to New Delhi.

Any Consular Gurus have suggestions as to what place would be more safe.

FYI- Mine is a EB3 RIR case approved with Substitution labor.

    No.

To go to Canada you must be Canadian resident or citizen. Mexico stopped accepting IV applications from TCN as of October 2001.

      Re: No.

Thanks for the Info. Would you recommend filing for AOS or going for Consular in New Delhi as far as How soon I can get it.

      Any help would be great.

      Thanks

        CP

CP is by far faster than AOS, and chances of approval are much higher. Go for it.
