PCC is a must : told the embassy

Anyone still in doubt if the PCC will be needed
for the interviews in Feb on, the answer is YESSSS!

After trying 4 days for 3 hours each day, I happened
to get a call thru last night at New Delhi US Embassy.
The lady clearly said without the PCC the interview
will not be successful.

I explained it will not be possible for arrange it
for me before 30 days, she advised to re-schedule my
appointment, which I did! She told that I will get a
date in March. If any Feb interviewees re-shedule
before end of this month, it is very likely to get
a March appointment.

Overall picture I got so far : No PCC.....no GC...
so anyone in doubt and willing to take a chance, watch
out! (My personal view)

if u'd time, u could have gone to the local RPO wher eur Passport got issued and get PCC from there or could have tried to expedite it by following it up with Consulate here and calling up and faxing the Letter No to local RPO...
neway, I didn't bring it up yesterday..but the US Consulate staff receiving our calls is NOT the decision making people and they r suppose to the official version only...k...Good Luck...
