PCC from CGNY in one day

Hey,
I just called the CGNY and a lady there told me that I can get my PCC in one day as my Passport was issued in New York. Does anyone know if this is true?

Yes,
In SFO it takes about 3 days if the passport is issued by SFO

I have my old passport issued from India, but
re-issued an additional (fresh) booklet attached to it
from SFO. Are they going to consider me to give
a PCC from SFO in 3 days?

PCC in one day

I too got the PCC in one day from New York as my passport was issued by them. I also think that the PCC is valid for 6 months. I am not sure about this. can anyone enlighten on this .

mine was issued from washington dc-so do i need to get pc from there?
also i am from bombay so would my cp be in bombay or the place of issue of passport
