Few questions about Chennai CP

I have got Jan 30, 2002 as my CP date at Chennai.
I have a few questions:

1) How do I schedule Medical Appointments. Could somebody please pass along some phone numbers or web-page links?

2) I am planning to leave for India on Jan 11. Suppose I do not get my Packet 4 by then, what should I do? Should I download it? What about the appointment letter?

Few questions about Chennai CP

1. You can download Packet4 from Chennai American consulate site. It has the list of doctors with the contact #. You can call and fix an appointment.

2. I think you can get the copy of appointment letter from the service center in Chennai consulate by going in person. Check with the consulate.

Got my medical exam done by Dr Vijaylaxmi who was very nice.

Regarding appt letter dont worry about it.get a print out of you appointment from the web.they accept that.If you want to be extra cautious send a email to chennai embassy with your case no they will send back an email with the appt date and time which you can use as a appt letter which I did.best of luck.It is actually very easy.
