PCC from February ???

Rescetly I read on immihelp that PCC is required only from February.
But Us embassy in Mumbai is still asking for the PCC from January??
Any one has any update???

PCC from Feb.

I had called US consulate (on 01/15/2002) regarding the PCC for my interview on 01/29/2002. They told me "its good if you have it, but its not mandatory for this month."
It will definitely be required from Feb 01, 2002.
