Help: how long does it take to get case# from NVC after 140

Please help!
My I-140 got approved from Vermont on Oct 29, 2001. My case# has not yet been created at NVC. Is anyone else going through the same problem?
Usually, how long does it take? please help

Becuase of the change in procedure it may take more time. If you have filed through a law firm it should arrive after the new process takes its own time to settle. But if you have not, then you will be sent a form to designate your agent and once you designate your agent packet 3 will be sent to the agent.

I have filed through a Law firm.
Usually how long does it take to reach NVC from Vermont?

You can call NVC and find out if they received it.
