Sorry, I didn't check the board till today.

xgladiator : The phone number I called was : 1-900-225-5520 it costs $1/min. I got this from the Juarez web site.

kawa50 : The case number is like 2000###### it is
a 10 digit number. I expected to see a alphabet prefix but there is not any as far as I know.

I don't what NVC gave. My file did not go to NVC. The interfiling for CP was not accepted during I-140 approval.

BTW, I went to Juarez for my H1 multiple entry stamping in 1996 and it went smooth. I took the help of Victor Garcia.

Called today. Mine was received on 10/27. In their system yesterday. Name check is in process. Forgot to ask case number ( how dumb, will ask in next call). Was told to expect interview in 3 months provided Wash D.C gives clearence for Name check and interview.

my case has been accepted. waiting to CJ to tell me what

I have applied in the begining of Oct. They sent me a confirmation saying they are requesting the original I-140 from the INS, once they receive it they will schedule an appointment. Although I sent them the original approval notice with the I-140 (I have AOS pending) it looks like they want the original. Anybody in the same boat?

Have you got your case number yet? Has your name
check got cleared? Did you ask the consulate why do they ask
for original I-140 from NSC when you have already sent it along
with your package. I think mine was sent in the second week of
Oct 00, but haven't got a case number yet or any acknowledgement.

a TCN?

Hope you guys know that CJ started accepting apps with
I-824 filed after oct 20.

1.) Can we hand deliver Packet3 to CJ ?
2.) How will they get the case number if I-824 is not
approved and file not sent to NVC ?
3.) Are you guys expecting any improvements with Jan
2001 visa bulletin ?
