Going by the messages here, looks like I have a long long wait before my case gets to NVC.

Processing delays at NVC

I guess NVC has received too many cases in last few weeks and they are having delay in entering cases in their system. In my case AD is 10/23/00 and though the NVC has received the file around 11/6/00 but they still haven't created a case in their system. I've talked to a number of operators over the period of time, and a few won't disclose that they have received the file but some others did. So the chances are that your file has been received at NVC but not entered in their system.

My 824 was also approved by CSC on 25/Oct (EB2)and my file has not reached NVC yet. Just
curious: Singh, Without NSC confirming how do you know that NSC has recieved your case on Nov/06. Did CSC tell
you?

Not CSC but NVC operator gave this info

Prakash, not CSC but NVC told me that. I called NVC (603-334-0700) and talked to the operator and she told me that they have physically received the file on 11/6/00 from INS but due to backlog it will take a while before my case is entered into their system and a case number could be generated and then only their automated system will acknowledge my INS receipt number.

NVC Case received! Need help!

Please Help:


I got the case # from NVC, they told me I need to wait about 4-6weeks to receive to packet 3. But my company will closing soon. I really want to catch up the time to get the interview.

The question:
1. Can I download the Packet 3 from the website and then I can mail to the consular?
