NSC to NVC

My I-140 got approved on 9/21/2000 from Nebraska Service Center in EB1 for direct CP. NVC has not received my file yet. Any idea on how long one should wait before talking to NVC or NSC? Is there anyone (with a similar I-140 approval date) whose case from NSC got forwarded to NVC?

Any help will be appreciated.

mine was approved 9/22/00 CSC and still has not reached the NVC. I spoke to someone there today & she said about a month or so. Hang in there, it shouldn't be too long (I hope) I'm sick of all this waiting crap with whole immigation thing!!!!

It takes 4 weeks for the SC to send papers to NVC - Mine took exactly 28 days for CSC to send papers to NVC

My I-140 was approved by NSC on 9/20/2000 for direct CP. I too am waiting for NVC to receive my case. It been more than a month now. I am thinking of filing for I-485?

My I140 approve on Sep 26,00, still didn't receive the packet 3. I really don't know how long I need to wait.
Did anyone have the same approve date and receive the packet 3.

Please advise!

NSC to NVC

My I-140 got approved on 9/27/2000 from NSC EB3 for direct CP. NVC received my file on 10/27/00. I talked to an operator to get my case Number y she said that my layer should receive packet III between 4 to 6 weeks.

Thanks to flgutier and others who responded to my question. As of today, my case has not arrived at NVC.

Flgutier, were you able to get information about your case via the automated system before you talked to the operator at NVC? I am just trying to understand how long it takes for a case to enter into the automated system at NVC.

My I140 approved on sept 19th. NSC,EB2 for direct CP.
It has been 5+ weeks and still not yet reached NVC
Called NVC today, the operator said "may be it is on its way" !! Hope it will reach soon. Good Luck to all those who are waiting.

My file finally reached today at NVC after little more than 6 weeks. I hope the files of other friends who are waiting would have reached by now (or will reach soon).
