    Hi

I had changed a couple of companies during my H1 period, Now I am getting my paperwork for Consular processing at Chennai. Is it really necessary to have all the employment letters.

    employment letter

    Jayson,

I changed two companies. I did not have any problems. The officer who took my oath asked me when I first came to Us, who was my employer than and who is my current employer and my current designation.

You only have to take notarized employment letter from your current employer. I was just asked for this during my CP in Mumbai.

But to be on safe side, I carried all past employment letters and H-1b approvals.
