Do I need separate employment letter for dependent

The employment letter section on immihelp says -

You need to get an employment letter to show at the interview. Take one copy for yourself and one copy for each of your dependents. Some consulates don't accept I-134 for supporting your dependents.

My spouse and son are not employed. Then I take three copies of the same employment letter from my employer each notarized ?

Yes, you have to take the employment letter from only primary applicant's (your) employer.

Dependants' employers, if any, have nothing to do with your application.

If a dependent is not working do we need a original copy of primary's employment letter for each dependent for showing support or the photocopy should be enought and if original is required does that also needs to be notarized.

It does not matter whether the dependent is/are working or not. Because you are submitting Affadavit of support I-134 for your dependant (one for each).

But for you , your employer will have to give a notarized employment letter.

My understanding is that the original should be notarized and copies will do for all secondary applicants. It does not make sense to notarize multiple times the same document.
