Hi,
I applied for my I-485 with VSC (PD-09/96, ND-10/99) and have been
still waiting for almost ever. I applied for extension of my EAD
as well as applied for Advance Parole.
I am planning to apply for Consular Processing at Mumbai (India).
1. Can I apply using the Attorney Certified i.e. AC-I40 ?
2. How much time does it take from sending the application to their acceptance to
schedule of interview ? If i start now will i get the interview in Feb'01 ?
3. What is the impact on I-485 ? My lawyer says my I-485 will be deemed
withdrawn? Is that true?
4. Do I also have to apply for I-824 at NVC (National Visa Center) ? Does
Mumbai still process IV using AC-140 and other docs only?
