    Just wondering ...

    I have the receipt of my application for H1 extension but the actual "approval notice" is not expected any time soon. My Consular Interview (in Mumbai) is on December 12 and my existing H1 expires on December 7. I will be leaving for India on December 2. Should I anticipate any problems in the interview?

    No. Be sure to carry the original recipt and the attorney certified H-1B application for extension.
