My application packet for AC 140 consular processing was received by Delhi . they have assigned me a case number.I called up the consulate last night and found out that they have sent me 'Packet 3' which I should receive sometime this week. As per the guy I spoke to, the consulate would be issuing an interview date within 3 months after he receives the packet 3 that they are sending me.
Now the question is :
1) I thought what my lawyer had sent them in the first place was actually packet 3. So why is the consulate sending packet 3 again ? Is this standard proceedure for an AC 140 case ?
2) Where does packet 4 fit in the picture ?
3) How many more months from this point onwards for the actual green card ?
