I have I-824 approved & waiting for Packet 3.(doing CP). I have H1-B1 renewal pending (receipt notice Oct 25/00)(previous one expired). I bought a ticket a few months ago hoping to return to Canada for Christmas. A nom-refundable ticket at that. Now with both of these applications still in progress, looks like I will not be able to leave the country and get back with in. has this happened to anyone else? ANY SUGGESTIONS? What do you think the possibility is that I may get the I-129 approved and have a new I-94 in time?
