I don't know much about CP. I got my I-140 approved through NIW (EB2) in TWC. MY PD is 28 June 2000.I believe the PD in EB2 case is Jan 2000. Does it mean I have to wait until my PD becomes current for CP processing? Can you guys please help.

- Yes, Your Priority date has to be current.
- Secondly was you I140 filed for CP processing?

does your approval say I140 say forwaded to the National Visa Center. Otherwise your I140 maybe aproved for AOS (485 filing). To go for consular you have to file an I824 to ammend to CP.
