Translation of Birth certificate

Hi,

I aplied for the birth certificate in Bangalore, the Municipal/ Corporation authorities say that the Birth certificate will be issued in the Local language.

So Can U pls tel me where i can get this translated???

Moreover they say that the BC does not contain my name at all, it only mention my parents name.
Is this accepted at the consulate???

Can someone throw some light on this pls.

Name on BC

My BC did not have my name on it ... so I had to provide 2 notarized affidavits (one from each parent) stating that they were aware of the facts of my birth and that they were present during it, etc.
