Please help : Interview Dates at New Delhi ???

Has anyone received Packet 4 from New Delhi Embassy having Case dates end September / early October. My case date is second week October. Have called the Embassy a couple of times in the last one month. They say that I should expect interview in January.

It would help if some of us with similar case dates could pool our experiences and possible keep in touch with each another. My email is [email protected]

delhi Consulate is full of Idiots

i had submitted packet 3 on oct 3. around Oct 18 was told on phone that interview sceduled for Dec 27. On Nov 16 got Packet 4 with interview date of Dec 1. I am currently trying to get this changed as I have already made arrangements to reach Delhi on dec 17

If you submitted packet 3 around second week of oct have somebody go to the consulate and find out whats going on. one of my friends who submitted packet 3 on Oct 13 has his interview this friday

Thanks for the reply. This is definitely quite idiotic. I sent my packet 3 on August 28. They entered my information in their system on October 13. No sign of Interview or Packet 4 as yet. I will take your advise and send someone to the embassy to find out.

How did you get your Packet 4. Was it certified mail. Was it a large packet.

got P4 by ordinary mail

I got it by ordinary mail. It was posted from Sterling VA on Nov 13 though interview letter has Oct 25 date. It was in an ordinary 4.5inch X 9.5 inch envelope ( standard size ordinary envelope)
