  • I-134 if you are not employed in US (L1 A)

I-140 filed by US subsidiary of the company where I am employed got approved by INS recently. Ofcourse, this has to go to NVC and then to consulate for processing.

I will be relocated to US office as soon as I get L1A immigrant visa. In form I 134 (Affidavit of support), we have to give details of our income and assets in US. Since I am not employed as of now in US, do I have to give details of my present income and assets converted into US$ ?

    Thanks for your reply, immihelp.

You can mention your future salary on I 134

If your immigrant visa ( I- 140) is approved then you can mention what salary you have been offered by your employer on I-134. technically I-134 is only a formality for employment based immigrants since they know that you already have a job offer and will be able to support yourself and your dependants ( that is assuming your salary is above poverty level)
