Chennai - Finally Dec Interview dates!!!

After much waiting finally Chennai has started giving out December Interview dates.

They also have a direct number for the VISA Section
number (44) 811-2060, first when I called the general inquiry line I was asked to call this direct line.

My P3 was hand delivered at the consulate on Oct 12 and now my Interview date is Dec 8th. I was also told that the P4 has been mailed to my Attorney on Nov 13th.

Interview Date

My interview Date was on the 14th Dec' 2000. But my sister's wedding falls on the same day. I requested a change of date (through fax). I talked to the official at (44) 811 2060 yesterday and she told me that my interview has been changed to 19th.

I want my Packet IV to be hand delivered and I am ready to send an authorization letter to my cousin. Is there any specific day / time that they should go to the consulate to get Packet IV? (also which counter in the consulate?)

In India you always talk to a live person. The consulate is no different. So call during working hours only.

You have to go to the consulate Tue-Fri 3:30-4:00 pm to pick up P4
