Is L1 Approval enough to validate status during CP

I have in hand an L1 Approval but no Visa as my I-94
expired on Sep 13th. I am attending an NIV interview
at Mumbai in December.

Will I have to get the L1 visa stamped before the
interview or do you think it is enough if I show the
approval.
