My company merge, new company not hire me?

Dear Immihelp,

I have get a I140 approval on Sep 26,00 and go CP.
Today, my company merge to another big company. My question is as follow:
1)If the new company not hire me, what should I do?
2)If I am looking for another job, did I need to apply the LC and go through all the process again?

Yes, you need to re-start the process again. Only thing you can use from your current I-140 is your PD.

Check with an Attorney if you can continue with the GC under the new immigration law. This is subjective to you getting another job, employer willing to continue GC.

So maybe its not too bad. But the worst case scenario is to go back and join the queue.
