How long does it take 2 get I-824 approved @NSC?

Can ne Gurus in here shed some light on how much time does it take 2 get I-824 approved @NSC. According to the "INS Nebraska Center Processing Times - August 31, 2000" it takes ne where from 450 - 470 days. I was thinking about canceling my pending I-485 (ND Sept 20, 2000) and go in for CP (Chennai).
