Options in the interview date-Immihelp pls respond

Is it possible to have an option of having a Interview date postponed.

What I mean is, If I send my packet 3 to the consulate Eg: Chennai, I am likely to have an Interview in January! I am assuming based on the other message boards.

So, Is there any option wherein I can tell the consulate to have my Interview in the following month.
