Getting a case number

Hi,

I have sent my packet III information to the mumbai consulate. I am in EB2 and have my priority date current. My lawyer sent me a case number. Does that mean that my packet III has been received there's no problem with the packet. Also can someone tell me when I can expect an interview if my packet reached mumbai before Sept. 15.

yes, your packet III is okay and has been accepted by the consulate for processing. You can expect your interview apt. to be sometime in December or late November.
