Folks,

My interview is set for Dec. 8, EB3/VSC.

I will be flying out on Nov. 5 from Philly and will spend atleast a week in Delhi before I proceed to Bombay for couple of weeks. I had to leave because of running out of
H1. If anyone wants to meet in ND please let me know and perhaps we can share experiences and other pertinent info.

How much time they take to enter packet 3?

My packet 3 was delivered by FedEx to ND Embassy on Oct 10, 2000. My father called them on Oct 31, 2000 and it was still not entered in their system.

Anyone knows how much time they normally take to enter this in their system. My lawyer is suggesting to wait for one more week before I send another packet (planning to hand deliver it) but I am not sure.

My brother went to consulate and requested to prepone date and according to him they can do it. I am leaving for India on 17 and will visit consulate on 20 to change date.
I will let you know.

My packet 3 was delivered on Oct 3 by courier, they entered it into their system only last week. It takes 3-4 weeks.

You may want to send copy of Packet 3 to your Dad ASAP
and ask him to hand deliver it to consute. You also need to follow up till your name is added to their system. In my case I waited for a month and a half and nothing happened. It seems New Delhi consulate has a major inefficiency in handling paperwork.
