I was born in S.India but have been living in Middle East almost all my life..Passport and L1 issued in Washington DC..my gc paper for CP have been send to New Delhi ? Is this okay ?

CP in New Delhi
1. What is your status in the middle east, if you are a permanent resident then you can get your CP done there.
2. What is your permanant address in you passport.
3. What the NVC does is that it determines your jurisdiction in India based on various factors, such as permanent address, last issue of US VISA from Indian consulate etc,etc.
Note: If you cannot prove Jurisdiction in Delhi then your files will end up being shunted around. So its is not OK better talk to an attorney and determine that you fall under the Delhi consulate Jurisdiction.
