  • Has anybody got their Packet IV

I got an e-mail from Mumbai Consulate saying they mailed my Packet IV on Oct. 05. My interview is in third week.

My Lawyer haven't received it yet. Does anybody know, how are they sent?

    Packet IV

What is the best way to make sure that the Forms we print over the Web are same as the One sent thru the Packet IV.

Here is my Situation, I am leaving to India for my Immigration Visa Interview. I still don't have my Packet IV and I don't know anybody in India to get the Duplicate Packet IV.

Is it really important to get the forms notarized in USA? Can we do it in India?

      Re: Packet IV

You need to get your I-134 (affidavit of support - required if you have dependents applying with you) to be notarised here.

And, of course, there is the employment letter that also needs to be notarised.

Nothing else has to be notarised.

        Printed Version of the Forms

Are the Printed versions of the Forms OK? I mean the I-134.

Re: Printed Version of the Forms

since you have an attorney, they will be having the I-134 forms. ask them to send one to you. The original I-134 form is a bit funny. It is a 2 page, back-to-back (i.e. total of 1 sheet). But the 2nd page is upside down. I'm not sure whether the form printed off the web is acceptable.

          Hope that helps.

Use the back-to-back 1 page form. You can download the form and photocopy it accordingly.
