Hi guys,
I sent an e-mail to mumbai U.S. Consulate to inquire about my interview date. My pkt 3 was delivered to Mumbai by Fedex on Oct. 5th. However, according to Mumbai they received the pkt 3 on Oct. 20th. I have following questions.
(1) Why it took 2 weeks for Mumbai to enter the case in the system ? My case is through NVC and I already have a case number.
(2) They mentioned to me that I should expect an interview in Jan. 2001. Is it normal for them to take 3 months to schedule an interview?
(3) Also, the e-mail was replied by Indian officer named "Niloufer Bhesania". Is it normal to receive an E-mail response from Indian officer and should I rely on this E-mail?
