december inteviews for mumbai?

Did anyone get or called mumbai to see
if they got interview date in December ?

Iam expecting interview in december but no info yet?

That was my understanding but then how come for delhi
people know of their DEcmber interviews now ?

I had the same question for immihelp. How does Delhi schedule the interviews 2 months in advance? Mumbai/Chennai only gives out dates in the middle of month for next month.

That means Delhi consulate guys knows for sure that priority dates are going to remain (atleast not retrogess) where they are currently.

It is going to be very difficult to get air-tics for December and everybody would have to spend atleast 1.5 times normal charges.

I called up the Mumbai consulate 2 days ago

My case reached on Oct. 3 and case number given on
Oct 6.

When I asked the lady on the telephone about when my interview
would possibly get scheduled, she put me on hold for
5 minutes and got back to me saying that it would be mostly in
December and that I should check around November 10th for
the exact date.

I guess and assume that all cases created between early/mid Sep. to
early/mid Oct. should have interviews in Deceber unless there are many
many candidates who would have decided to postponed their
earlier interview dates to December since all desis typically go in
December to India. Again THIS IS MY ASSUMPTION..AND IT IS
NOT BASED ON ANY FACTS AND FIGURES..

Delhi is an exception for Dec

Hey guys, Delhi is an exception that has broken rank and provided interview dates for Dec earlier that usual.

This does not mean other consulates need to follow suite. It is left to the discreetion of the consulate to provide the dates.

If some of you will remember that Oct interview dates at Chennai were provided very late. Did anyone question that as odd?

So sometimes somethings happen and if you are at the right place right time, maybe you can get lucky.
