Any idea for timeline for Name Check ?

I received an email from Mumbai consulate stating that

They have not been able to get a name check as of now and that they are sending a cable message to get that expedited.

Any ideas as to how much time does this take ?

Name Check is kind of equivalent to the FBI finger print check done in AOS. It searches for various databases for any criminal records
