Reentry after CP

I have a question for anybody. Does the whole family have to reenter USA together after CP, I am the primary sponsor, but my wife has little vacation left and would like to come back immediately after the interveiw, while I want to spend some more time in india with my kids. Any input is appreciated. Thanks

if you are the primary applicant, you have to enter first.

My friend faced similar situation, your dependents have to travel to USA only with primary applicant for the first time..., they can't goto USA first without primary applicant.

The dependants can enter anytme after the Primary applicat has entered.

However you have to inform the Consulate at the time of interview so that they appropriately give to different packed to carry to the port of entry.

You don't need to inform consulate about it.

On the primary applicant's packet on top, it says nothing.
On the dependant's packet on top, it says 'valid for entry only if accompaying or following to join the primary applicant'.
