  • CSC problems with I140 to NVC

I have question regarding I-140 for CP. I got my I-140 cleared in July 4th week of this year from CSC under EB2 RIR (BS+7years experience). In the copy of the I-140 approval notice, they had mentioned Montreal as the CP center.

I have been calling up the NVC center quite a few times and spoke to the operator 3 times (yesterday was the latest, I spoke to the operator). The operator mentioned that they have not yet my case from CSC. I had mentioned Consular Processing option for Montreal right at the time I filed for I-140. Do I need to send any more docs to CSC to forward the app to NVC or is it just the regular delay caused by CSC to forward the application of NVC.

I tried contacting CSC automated phone line for an opertor but I could never get the line. Does anyone know what needs to be done so that my apps gets forwarded to NVC. Is there a fax number for CSC where I can enquire or request the processing of my approved I-140. Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

    thanks,
    Kasetty

I'm in the same boat. It seems like your file is still lying at CSC. Tell you attorney or employer to fax an enquiry to CSC. They should respond. No use you trying, since they will not respond to you or give you much information.

    Fax number : 949-389-3055

    Thanks

i have the same situation. i140 approved
on july 2nd week but never reached NVC.

My lawyer advised me to switch to EAD/485
saying it is less risky and takes only
3-4 months longer. however i am not
sure if i will do that .

You know Mikku.. all that needs to be done here is either your employer or Attorney follow-up with CSC. I think these attorneys either have no time to do this or have much too big egos to listen to what we have to say. Because our attorney too is refusing to follow-up.

In the end the fact is, CP is faster than 485.
