What salary on Employment Letter?

On Employment Letter, it should be current salary or the salary on Laber Certificate?

I know this question must have been asked many times in the past. But how much can the salary be more than that shown in LC. (10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, 30%, ...)

No hard & fast rule, but it really depends upon for how long you have been waiting for GC. Normal salary raises would be fine.

If you have got raise from $50,000 to $300,000 (I wish!), then they will suspect that you are not in the same position.

will a hike of 20% in a year be a problem ?

Since ,my LC, my salary has been hiked by 20% . Because my skills set are very much in demand and they do not want to loose me.

But at the same time my job responsibilities remain the same.

Very common

Don't sweat on 20% raise. Most of the people I know had comparable or more raises in the last 1/2 years. They understand the situation. I guess the base is also important i.e. whether you went up 20% from 100 or 20% from 47%. Good luck and don't worry about this issue.
