Hi all,
My approved I140 petition was sent to the NVC on Aug 5, 00. I have not recd my Packet III. In fact, the NVC does not have my application, as per their operators. That is only part of the problem.
I went ahead and applied for Police Certifcate from HK, which is about to be sent directly to the Mumbai consulate. The only problem is HK Police doesn't have a case number (that's coz I don't have a case number from the NVC). Does any body know of the consequences of sending the police certificate to the Consulate without a case number. Will it get misplaced OR sent back OR kept on hold until they receive the Packet III from me.
