  • QUESTION about Form I-134 and Appointment letter

I have couple of questions , i will greatly appreciate if any body in the
    forum can answer these questions.

    1. About I-134 form, is it required to be signed by a notary or an Attorney can sign. I am talking about the OATH part like "Signature of Officer Administering Oath". My attorney told me it is ok if he sign this.

    2. Is the appointment letter can be notarized by an Attorney or I have to get it signed by a notary. How many appointment letters one need for CP. I have two dependents one is spouse and another is child.

ImmiHelp, please help me to clear my doubts & I will really appreciate any answer to these questions.

    Thanks
    Dubu

Notary has to sign both I-134 and employment letter. If your lawyer is ALSO a notary, he can sign them, else not.

One employment letter for each person. So 3 for you.

        immihelp,

There seems to be some confusion here regarding appointment letter.

Do we need to have 3 original notarized appointment/employment letter or just one and make 3 photocopies of that.

        Please clarify.

          re

Guys this was a mistake , it is not the appointment
letter rather it is employment letter.

Immihelp thanks a lot for your reply.

How the Form I-134 be printed, my attorney already
given the filled in form I-134 with 2nd page printed
like up side down ( reverse).
          Immihelp is this right

          Thanks in advance

              Employment letters

              Dear Immihelp,
I am also in the same boat. I don't understand why an employer will issue three same kind of employment letters when only one of us is working for him? Are these employment letters different for the person working and the dependents or same. Please clarify.
              Thanks.

                  Re: Question about employment letter.

I have just read postings by guys who had successful CP.
They said that only one notarized employment/appointment letter is required.

But then it does'nt hurt to carry more. Just in case the consulate asks for it.

Better to be safe than sorry!!
