police certificate for Consular processing

Hi,

Do I need police certificate for consular processing. I
have lived only in India and USA. Mumbai US Embassy website
seems to indicate that I dont need it.

No you dont need a police certificate

I emailed mumbai embassy with the same question. Their answer was that you do not need it.
