Anyone sent packet III to Mumbai recently ?

My packet III reached Mumbai consulate on Oct. 3rd and
was wondering when I would get the case number.

Did anyone send their packet III in the same time frame ?

if so, could you please let me know whether or not you
were given a case number or not.

It takes atleast 2-3 weeks - maybe 4 in some cases. You should expect it around the 25th-30th Oct

If your case has gone thru NVC, they'd have your case number created even before they dispatched packet III to your lawyer.. so, I would say, talk to NVC operator and they will tell you your case number. I got mine like that..
