URGENT PLEASE HELP

My I140 was approved in EB2 from CSC on Aug 31st. Today I received the copy of the approval from my HR. In that it mentions that the file has been sent to NVC. I HAD NOT opted for CP, but in old form of I-140, part4, processing information, we had mentioned the U.S.consulate name. So, now I have three questions.
1) So far, I have not heard anything from the NVC centre. What do I need to do. I am from India. My priority date is not yet current, but close to current(2nd week of Jan'00).
2) I want to do AOS & not CP, is it possible? What should I do?
2) on the I-140 form, the Consulate name mentioned was different from my jurisdiction. Whether this is going to cause any problem. Do i need to correct it?

When your date is close to become current, NVC will send packet3 to your lawyer/your self.

about consulate in india( jurisdiction), it will depned on your birth place(most of the cases).
My passport has PUNE address, but my case was sent to
CHENNAI, as my birth place is Hyderabad.

About AOS, i think you can still go for AOS, contact your lawyer...

use the case No: in I-140 approval notice to know the latest state of your case in NVC( whether they sent packet III to you or not...).

In any case, i believe you should be able to go for AOS
