Immihelp / other experts on job title:
I was employed as "Sr. Software Engineer" right from the
begining. However, my labor and I140 are approved for "Software Engineer", even though they were filed for "Sr. Software Engineer"
I was not promoted and my job duties are still the same. My lawyer says that it is not a problem, and that i can take the employment letter with matching title in labor. i.e. "Software Engineer". Is it really OK or my lawyer is just covering up his mistake? What should i say at the interview, if they ask ? "That i am currently working as a Sr. but will join as Jr. when you give me the GC ???" Hopefully they won't even ask.
