I want interview in early Jan. When should my lawyer send packet III to mumbai ?? My lawyer is all set to packet III !! I am EB-2.. Please... I have asked her to hold off right now..

People have had luck with making a specific request to the consulate. Try asking them directly ([email protected]) and see what they say.

Another option - not really scientific - is to time your application so that it is carried on the Dec 15 list (for Jan interviews). For that to happen you'd have to send your Pkt 3 to Mumbai between Oct 15 and Nov 15, and pray. This is a very approximate method but seems to have some success.
