I'm considering doing CP via Ciudad Juarez but have two questions:
1. Has anyone signed up for CP via Ciudad Juarez yet and had an interview time scheduled? I assume this consulate will be swamped with consular processing interviews pretty soon and want to get a feel for how much time I will save going by this route (also having been to Ciudad Juarez to obtain my first H1b)
2. How strong is the bar on candidates who have been out of status at some point in the past? Does CP via CJ have the same provisions as a normal adjustment of status (i.e. candidate can be out of status for less than 180 days) or is the bar absolute?
Thanks for any help.
