# of days for Lab/Medical in Chennai

Does anyone know how many days (min-max) it takes in Chennai for:

1. Labs tests at Lister
2. Medical Checkup and all medical paperwork

In addition does Lister take u if you arrive by noon on a working day ? When does the lab paperwork come through in such a case ?

You can do Lister labs in the morning and visit Dr. Thomas in the evening ... he is open till 7.30. So all your medical work should take one day.

Officially Lister takes tests for immigration visa purposes until 10-30am. Get all info at madras.sphynx.com/wwwhiv.html and packet 4 link.

If they want to accomodate your request for tests at noon, it may be a good idea to call them ahead and talk to someone responsible. Allocating 1 day for medical is cutting it really fine. Suggested time for labs and doctor (by a doctor's office) is 3 days.

Dr. Thomas is open till 7.30 pm ... so we do not even need to request lister to give us the results early.

I was addressing the concern of VYZWZ if it is OK to arrive for lab tests at Lister at noon. Their normal time for tests is only until 10.30am.
