Optimal time difference bet. medical & interview ?

How many days should be there between scheduling the medical and interview date?

Some one suggested 7 days apart...

Time between interview and medical.....

Depends if your in or out of town in the place of interview.

I had mine in Chennai. I thought ideally it would be like
Day 1: Lab tests
Day 2: Physicals with the Physician
Day 3: Interview

But when I called for the interview with the physician, they enquired when I was doing the Lab tests and then suggested that it will be better if I moved the lab tests a day earlier, should there be any problems with the tests, one can redo them again. So I had

Day 1: Lab tests
Day 2: Physicals with the Physician
Day 3: Buffer for contingencies
Day 4: Interview
