I-140 Approval document needed for Pkt 3/4/Intvw??

Hi all,

I am new to this forum so please pardon ignorant questions.

I am looking at the contents of Pkt 3/4 and there doesn't seem to be any mention of sending in original I-140 approval. But someone told me that its necessary to send it to Consulate as part of pkt 3 and/or have it with you for the interview. Is this true ?

Also, based on the postings here, it looks like for CP (not AC-140), the lawyer in not involved at all.

Just wondering...(maybe erroneously). Would be glad to receive feedback from you immigration gurus.

cvgc: You dont have to send any documents esp. I-140 with your Pkt.3 unless you are doing AC-140. But you do have to carry all documents with you to the interview.
Reg. your lawyer's involvement in CP, it is totally at your discretion. The reason why many people choose not to have lawyers at this stage is coz, Pkt.3 etc. can be handled by us only and avoids unnecessary attorney delays. But if you have a good attorney, then you can continue with them.
