POLICE CERTIFICATE - Is it valid ?

Hi,

I have lived in Germany from 1994 to 1998 and obtained a police certificate
in 1999. After that I have NEVER ENTERED Germany. Can I submit that police
certificate for CP in Chennai or do I need to obtain a recent police
certificate from Germany?

I believe the PCC is valid for 6 months only.

Police Certificates should be no more than one year old at the time of visa application.

IMMIHELP states this, check under Consular Processing/Packet 3/Packet3 from Consulate/Police Clearance on this site.

Is your police clearance in Deutsch ? If yes, you will have to get it translated in English by a certified translator..
