Hi,
We will soon be starting our CP in India and for that we need to submit our
birth certificates.
Now the problem is that my husband has no birth certificate but only birth
affidavit. In the birth affidavit his first name is spellt differently than
that in the passport and all other documents (certificates etc.).
On the otherhand, we have obtained a birth certificate from the Indian
Consulate in Houston with all information written correctly.
Now my question is :
1.Can we submit the birth certificate obtained from Indian Consulate
(Houston) for CP in Chennai ?
2.If not, do we need to submit a letter of non availability of birth
certificate ? How can we obtain that letter ?
If anybody has information - PLEASE HELP.
