ASAP..Anyone did consular processing from Canada??
ASAP..Anyone did consular processing from Canada??
Hello,
If you read the Consular Processing description in this website, it will take you step by step.
My experience was exactly what was described in this site.
You can count a total of about 5 to 6 months from beginning to end.
To obtain the RCMP clearance, you have 3 choices; you can do the finger print procedure which takes a longer time or you can go to Canada and obtain the paper in two days (in this case, they will not require fingerprints, they only do a name search). Contact the RCMP in the province you want to go and they will tell you where the offices are since they don't do it themseves but they sub-contract it to agencies throughout the country.
