Times to call Chennai consulate

Can anyone advise on when is the best time to call
the Chennai consulate Imm Visa number (8112060)?
Are they available all through the day. Yesterday
I called at 4 pm India time and noone answered the
phone.

Looking to see if people know of any exact time
window or if at what times people have actually gotten
through.

call sometime around/after 9:00AM. Sometimes they donot answer, just keep trying for a few times and u shuld get through.

Do not call Chennai Consulate

Chennai is not accepting any more calls. Rather asking us to use FAQ or e-mail.

That is not a bad idea, unless it is absolutely necessary let us stick to that. May be we don't piss them off with that.

good luck. I am disappointed, it is just about the time my application will reach Chennai. I am waiting for PKT3.
