Hi all,
By divine Providence, we got out GC at Mexico. Our home consulate is Chennai, were TCN at CDJ. The Appt was on Feb 14. I will describe key points, folks can email me at [email protected] for further assistance.
- Like most people, mailed I-824, original I-140 approval and applicarion to CDJ on Oct 24.
- Got Appointment on Feb 14, by mail on Jan 20
- Stayed at Econo Lodge at El PAso. Nice Indian restaurant Delhi Palace is there near to Econo lodge.
- Took Victor Garcia's hlep to cross border
- One day prior to Appt date is enough to get Medicals done. ( if you believe you are in good health)
- Stayed at Holiday Inn at Lincoln Ave opposite to consulate. ( can reach them by 1-800-HOLIDAY )
- Holiday Inn is the only place where you can eat something. Breakfast is free and is a buffet. Dont miss it.
- Folks with kids should arrange for their kid's food.
- Important: Have All Documents in ORDER, failing which can land you into all sorts of troubles.
- There were 3 other TCN families, all of whom got their IV approved after rigorous interview.
